It was announced that beginning March 21st, there will be a fee for overnight Parking at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Currently, parking is complimentary but for all reservation from 21st March there will now be a tiered fee structure depending on the category of resort stayed in. The below is taken from the Disney World website:
- Disney Value Resorts: $13 per night
- Disney Moderate Resorts: $19 per night
- Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $24 per night
All fees will be added to the guests hotel bill.
Parking will continue to be free at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Campsites where there is space for 1 vehicle in each campsite.
DVC members are exempt from these charges.
We were planning on hiring a car for a few days while there in November and this will add approx $125 to our already tight budget. I was totally surprised when I heard this as I assumed parking was one of the “perks” of staying in a Disney hotel.
