Disney Planning 2.0 – Advanced Dining Reservations

The time to make my Disney advanced dinner reservations (ADR) came and went and I didn’t do an update about it. So here we go

As you probably know, when staying in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you can make advanced dinner reservation 180 days from the date of your scheduled arrival to Disney. I mentioned in a previous post that this time we will use the Disney Dining Plan. This entitles us to 1 quick service (QS) meal credit and 1 table service (TS) meal credit,  as well as 2 snacks, per day. In general for quick service meals you don’t have to book in advance although there are a few exceptions – Be Our Guest being one of them. Also, some table service restaurants requires more than 1 credit for the meal so this has to be factored in. Here’s the plan as it is now

  • Saturday (arrival Day)
    • We get in late so a QS will do here – probably Pizza on the Boardwalk
  • Sunday
    • Be Our Guest QS Breakfast (Reservation Required)
    • Beaches and Cream TS Dinner
  • Monday
    • Le Cellier TS Dinner (2 credits)
  • Tuesday
    • 50s Prime Time TS Dinner
  • Wednesday
    • Teppan Edo TS Dinner
  • Thursday
    • Tusker House TS Lunch – Rivers of Light Package
  • Friday
    • ‘Ohana TS Breakfast
    • Liberty Tree  TS Dinner
  • Saturday – Sunday Off site
  • Monday
    • ‘Ohana TS Dinner
  • Tuesday (Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party)
    • Be Our Guest TS Dinner (2 credits)
  • Wednesday
    • Hollywood and Vine TS Fantasmic Package (1 credits)
  • Thursday
    • Garden Grill TS Candlelight processional Package (2 credits)
  • Friday
    • TBD
  • Saturday (Leaving Day)
    • Crystal Palace TS Breakfast

That’s the plan so far. You can see there’s a To Be Decided (TBD) in there. The countdown is well and truly on with 124 days until we’re there! If you have any recommendations I’d love to hear them! Especially for the quick service locations, as last time we went we had the Deluxe Dining Plans so every meal was a Table Service meal.

Would love to hear your thoughts!
