Movie Review: Incredibles 2

The Incredibles are finally back to our screens after a long 14 years after the original with a fast paced, action packed sequel. Our favourite super hero family pick up right where they left off in the first installment, with the arrival of “The Underminer”. “Supers” are still illegal but with a change of perception that could be a thing of the past.

Here’s the trailer in the unlikely event that you missed it!

I loved this movie and, with the risk of pre-blowing your minds, I liked it more than the original. The concept was great and well thought out – they weren’t just cashing in here on making a sequel. This was well worth the 14 year gap between movies. I thought the story was very relevant with how the public’s opinion can change based on their perception of whats going on. The governments were blaming the “Supers” on the destruction to the city but never got to see the big choices made in the heat of moment and how worse it could have been without the “Supers” involvement.

Jack Jack was also fantastic – any scene with him in it had me laughing. Writing this, I think I’ll go see it again this weekend. I’d highly recommend it.

I’d give it 5 stars
